Welcome to my blog!

My name is Emmelie Zipson. I owe “Zipson” to my Russian ancestors who fled to England. My father was born in England and that’s why I am a bilingual speaker.

Since 2014 you would have seen me mainly in the role of chairman, (online) moderator, and native voice-over, Dutch, and English with a home studio.

You can also call me a (virtual) host or (online) discussion leader. All fairly similar but with subtle nuances, because I sometimes merely present or write an appropriate introduction, announce speakers and make sure to connect with the different program components. While, for other events or webinars, for example, I lead a panel discussion or an online conversation to make sure that the general theme is clear.

Therefore, it is of great importance for you, as an organization, to make the purpose of your event crystal clear so that the chosen form can make the right impact.

Storytelling

It was my big dream to become an actress and a mother. I auditioned for various drama schools and

was accepted at the Amsterdam drama and music theatre academy. After that I played in various tv series and theatre plays.

I also made five solo performances with which I toured throughout the Netherlands.

If you happen to see me passing by in a whiff, on TV or on your tablet, you’ve seen it correctly, as I occasionally play a small role in a series or in a commercial.
